Since 2008, Aurostar Montessori Children Centre has been providing child care services in British Columbia. We currently operate four licensed locations in the cities of Surrey and Delta. At Aurostar, we are committed to fostering a self-directed learning environment that enables children to develop freely in physical, intellectual, and social skills through a variety of age-appropriate activities. We believe that each child is a natural learner with unique potential.
Our goal is to nurture the development of each child’s complete personality through a system focused on the spontaneous use of their intellectual abilities. Our teachers carefully observe and guide children in their exploration of learning materials, supporting the growth of their absorbent minds. Qualifications
- Licensed multi-age and group child care facility in BC
- BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certificate
- American Montessori society early childhood educator diploma
- CPR & First Aid certificate
- Food and safety certificate
All staffs require non-criminal record check and proof of doctor’s declaration of suitability
Meet our main staff members
My name is Sunny. When I started my child care business in 2008, as a licensed ECE and Montessori teacher, there was nothing more excited to see children happily grew in my children’s place, a home but more than a home. They learn, feel and explore the world with their own eyes. With hundreds children graduated from our program, I am proud to be part of their life, and help building stars of the future.
My name is Hannah. I am the operation manager and Early Childhood Educator at Aurostar White Rock centre (aka. Semiahmoo Junior Kindergarten). I have been a full-time ECE working with age group 30months to 5yrs since 2014. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy free time with my family, or helping out in our community church.
My name is Jurry Hsiao, In 2012 I received my Early Childhood Education and infant toddler certificates and have worked in the field since. Other than that, I also have the first aid , food safe certificates. I have a passion for early learning, especially enriching young minds through play and mindful hands on experiences. I look forward to working with your little ones!
My name is Joyce Guan, a mother of two children, and an early childhood educator who graduated from Capital College. I love children, enjoy seeing their precious smiles, and am passionate about being around and working with them. I am also a good listener and am patient when it comes to interacting with children and listening to what they need and what they want. I believe every child is unique and full of potential.
Children are our future, they deserve to be loved and to be nurtured well, whether physically or mentally.
My name is Sophia, I am a mother of a lovely daughter, an ECE teacher with over 5 years experience, and I believe that I am positive and friendly, reliable, and dedicated. Education has always been an interest and an important field of study and work in my life. I love to watch them learn and grow while exploring everything the world has to offer.
I have worked in this domain for several years in China as a language teacher at primary and middle school, after moving to Canada, I was very interested in Early Childhood Education. It allows me to continue pursuing my dream where now I call home. I believe that the foundation of learning and interaction that children receive should be taught with love and understanding, children should and always be valued and treated with respect, I feel that it is vitally important to have educated, caring, and knowledgeable teachers in this field.
My name is Charlene. I immigrated from China to Canada in 2010, and I completed my ECE and Montessori combined program in 2013. I have 10+ years work experience with children. I love exploring and working with children, and seeing their potentials delights my day. As a mother of a 6 years old daughter, I’m approachable to young children and know how to guide them with their needs. I believe every child has their strong personality and interests. As a teacher my role is to help them to reach their milestones with my knowledge, patience and passion. In my spare time, I like to explore outdoor activities. I enjoy spending time in nature which also help me stay positive and fill my energy.
I’m a licensed Early Childhood Educator and a mother of two, with extensive experience working with young children. I bring love, patience, and enthusiasm to everything I do, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, warm, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. I believe every child is unique, and I’m dedicated to helping each one discover their strengths, build confidence, and thrive with joy.
